Chelsea AL Auto Repair

Very positive experience recently, at Chelsea Tire. Tire prices were very good and service was great. They did not try to 'up sale' any product or service. I strongly recommend using Chelsea Tire.

I called them at the spur of the moment because I was going out of town and I was concerned with my tires. I had had them checked 3 times because I could feel a vibration / shimmy that was not normal. The other places said my tires were fine. Chelsea Tire were the first ones to say that there WAS an issue. They were able to get me fixed up that day and I had a wonderful trip with no worries that I was going to blow a tire. I also appreciated that they were very nice and respectful and listened and didn't treat me like a numbnut! I even called them on my trip to thank them for helping me!

First class shop, great experience overall. Great folks to deal with for general repairs and tires. Have taken 2 vehicles to them since moving to the area a few months ago and we will be going back for all future needs. The staff is very professional, trustworthy and they know their stuff.

I purchased a a newer used truck from Chelsea Motors, which is next door to Chelsea Tire Pro last Friday. Over the weekend the truck started missing and shaking at highway speeds. I purchased a warranty agreement with the truck, so first thing Monday I called Ernest McCarty Ford in Alabaster to get the vehicle in to see what was wrong. They said their turnaround time was 7 to 10 days right now. I knew that Chelsea Tire could service my vehicle under the warranty I bought so I called them next and they said bring it right in. They diagnosed it within 30 minutes, replaced the faulty coil ignition and spark plug in one of the cylinders and had me back on the road in a smooth riding truck in 45 minutes. On top of that, they called over to Chelsea Motors and told them about the problem on the truck I just purchased and Chelsea Motors picked up the bill. I walked out of the door owing nothing and my truck is running fantastic now. I was totally impressed with both businesses and will be taking my truck to Chelsea Tire from now on to be maintained and for tires. It's refreshing to see two businesses treating their customers with respect and doing the right thing. Thank you!
